In Honor of this Argument, I turned the Blog RED!

Alright Chief Douchebag, so you came informed this time around, eh?! Well, ok then. Prepare to get informationally mind-raped.
First off, your end-quote by Kennedy, was originally a quote by FDR. The official transcript of the Speech before the 1936 Democratic National Convention held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 27, 1936, says,
“Better the occasional faults of a government that lives in a spirit of charity than the consistent omissions of a government frozen in the ice of its own indifference.”
Kennedy’s quote, which was recited as the Remarks of Senator John F. Kennedy at Lafayette, Indiana, April 7, 1960, A Rendezvous With Destiny, and can be found at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, was also,
“Governments can err,” President Roosevelt once said, “Presidents do make mistakes; but the immortal Dante tells us that divine justice weighs the sins of the cold-blooded and the sins of the warm-hearted in different scales. Better the occasional faults of a Government that lives in a spirit of charity than the consistent omissions of a Government frozen in the ice of its own indifference.”
The American people today are very nearly confronted in their Executive Branch with the very danger of which Franklin Roosevelt warned – ‘a Government frozen in the ice of its own indifference.’”
So you’re wrong, and boosh! Respectfully, of course. Anyway, back to the issues.
Your video was a song comprised of no actual argument. My video showed Democrats saying evil things. So, that’s a win for me I think. If you’d like to educate yourself about the party of Thomas Jefferson, please direct yourself to The White House’s history of Thomas Jefferson, paragraph 5, lines 2-3
“Jefferson gradually assumed leadership of the Republicans…”
I’d also like to direct you to the fact that the new site, which has updated Presidential History archives, was commissioned by President Obama, and was reported on by your favorite liberal rag, CNN.
“Almost at the instant Obama was sworn in, www.whitehouse.gov relaunched with a redesign to signal a new era in government. Gone was the staid site of the Bush White House, replaced by a dynamic new site reflective of his tech-savvy successor.
The new design includes more interactive features, a prominent photo gallery displayed across the top of the site, the ability to get e-mail updates, and a White House blog. The site’s “briefing room” also includes places for a weekly video address, slide shows, proclamations, and executive orders as well as news about nominations and appointments.”
So there’s our miscommunication, as usual, Mr. Obama’s team misinformed me. Unless Wikipedia is also wrong in saying,
“Thomas Jefferson (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826)[2] was the third President of the United States (1801–1809), the principal author of the Declaration of Independence(1776), and—for his promotion of the ideals of republicanism in the United States—one of the most influential Founding Fathers.”
I’m sure they’re wrong too. Could be also that The American Almanac and Treasury of facts is wrong too…
“Jul 1796 - John Adams, of Massachusetts, was prominent among the leading Federalists, while Thomas Jefferson, of Virginia, was pre-eminently the author and oracle of the Republican Party, and, by common consent, they were the opposing candidates for the Presidency, on …
From American Almanac and Treasury of Facts, Statistical, Financial, and …- Related web pages
books.google.com/books?id=ebEoAAAAYAAJ&pg …”
Mr. Jefferson was indeed, a Republican.
As far as the “bible-clutcher” statement, it’s not personal offense that I have; it’s the lack of information that went into that statement. You see, it’s not about injecting Jesus into the issues. Jesus’ issue was the free pardon of sin, which He came and gave to the world. The commandments were given to Moses delivered from God, and that’s where your rules come in. However, read very carefully into the Bible, and you’ll see that every person is forgiven if they simply as Christ into their heart. Whole other issue though that we will not delve into when confronting politics.
The institutions concerning Gay Marriage and Abortion, which are the only two that hold any sort of proposed Biblical weight, are heavily unfavored by the Republican party. However, Homosexuals and those having abortions are not minorities, but special interest groups. To say that minorities are under attack in this country, and it is the fault of the Republican, is irresponsible, and incorrect.
I agree that a true progressive party is needed, but I don’t believe that either party has drifted further than the other. I believe they have equally become enemies across the sands of Congressional aisles, and they have drawn one too many lines. Progressives, in fact, could start a party and revolt.
